Next generation biopharmaceuticals are not uniform. Optimising production needs more than a generic, one-size-fits-all vector system.
From promoter recommendations to lead and back-up expression vectors in 11 weeks.
In-parallel testing of a wider combination of synthetic promoters for challenging proteins.
Promoter combinations and materials available off-the-shelf for use with well-behaved proteins.
CHO cells are the workhorse of biopharmaceutical manufacturing, but as biologics become increasingly complex, the existing tools for protein expression are demonstrating their shortcomings. Here we describe new strategies to increase CHO based productivity, based on novel synthetic promoters, tuned to the needs of the cell and the expressed protein to overcome the challenges of complex biologic production.
